The Lead Cook is a key member of Dover Behavioral Health System who will help lead the hospital's Dietary Department by providing high quality and nutritious meals to our patients, staff, and guests. Under the guidance of the Dietary Director, the Lead Cook will help recruit and develop the dietary staff, ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, and create a positive dining experience for our patients during their hospital stay. Job Duties/Responsibilities Plan and cook nutritious meals in a hospital setting. This includes cooking bulk meals, as well as preparing for hospital events Partner with the Registered Dietician for patients with special dietary needs Ensure the kitchen and cafeteria remain clean and prepared for inspections at all times Assist the Dietary Director with managing the day to day operations of the Dietary Department, including supervising staff, ordering food and supplies, and providing excellent service to our patients Benefit Highlights: Competitive Compensation Generous Paid Time Off – 24 days accrued in the first year!
