Project Lead Engineer Controls

As the systems/project lead engineer you will be executing projects delivering the topside and subsea control system package as part of the full subsea production system. You will be working closely with the customer to understand their needs and carry them through the life of the project. You will work with local and global teams from project start to finish in an interactive and dynamic environment. You will be responsible for managing project interfaces between complimentary product packages as well as generating system level documentation related to scope delivery, system layouts, and system testing. Additionally, you will be responsible to, <ul><li> Perform individual engineering tasks on controls package level in accordance to customer requirements. </li><li> Provide technical leadership, guidance, support, and input to supporting product engineers (coordination and monitoring of product engineering efforts during project execution). </li><li> Interface with the internal project team and other internal package teams. </li><li> Lead meetings/reviews with internal and external customers. </li><li> Interface with customer and other contractors (achieve customer approval for technical solutions). </li><li> Ensure that all company procedures as well as international codes and standards applicable for the controls system are met. </li></ul><br><br><b>Minimum Job Qualifications</b><br> <ul><li>have an Engineering degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (or similar).</li><li>Have experience in leading technical projects.</li><li>Have knowledge of codes and standards applicable to engineering work.</li><li>Have good communication skills with fluency in English language.</li><li>Have strong leadership skills with a drive for results.</li><li>Are experienced in working in a team environment.</li><li>Are willing to do business travel, as needed (estimate of 10-20 days per year).</li><li>Can cooperate with internal and external partners.</li><li>Are proactive and able to prioritize individual work.</li></ul>
