<div class="mds-edited-text mds-font-body-copy-bulk"><p>Sports Mentor/SEN Support Teaching Assistant- Tower Hamlets</p><p>ASAP Start</p><p>A fantastic school in Tower Hamlets is currently looking for a Sports Mentor/Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to join them after the February half term. They cater for a range of special needs of primary age. This is an exciting opportunity for a Sports Coach, graduate or experienced teaching assistant to develop their experience with Special Educational Needs and Behavioural Needs. A graduate with a degree graded 2:2 or above is ideal for this role and some previous experience working with SEN children or as a sports coach is desirable</p><p>For recent graduates, this is a fabulous opportunity to gain extensive experience and work alongside a school based psychologist and therapist, through shadowing sessions and being mentored throughout. This is a great opportunity for an aspiring PE teacher, educational psychologist or support worker.</p><p>A positive, enthusiastic individual who is able to bring prior knowledge and experience to the classroom is exactly what this school is looking for. The children at the school require a supportive teaching assistant who is open-minded and is able to adapt to different situations. With SEN widely varying, the children have many different needs, which should always be a priority. Suitable experience from working with either SEN children or adults is greatly beneficial. A minimum of Level 3 qualifications or equivalent is required, with a degree being most desirable.</p><p>* Long-term contract</p><p>* February half term start</p><p>* £350 - £375 per week</p><p>* Behaviour/Mental Health Support</p><p>* SEN Teaching Assistant</p><p>* Sports Mentor/Coach</p><p>* Graduates wanted</p><p>* Aspiring teachers wanted</p><p>* Tower Hamlets based</p><p>This primary school is providing a new exciting opportunity for a graduate or experienced teaching assistant to develop their experience with Special Educational Needs and Behavioural Needs.
