The opportunity: We are seeking talented and energetic candidates to join our Advisory, Management Consulting team as an Intern/Co-op Consultant/Senior Consultant working in our Toronto practice starting in Spring (May) 2023. Positions are available in the following service lines: Technology Strategy and Transformation Enterprise Solutions People & Change What you will do Technology Strategy and Transformation The TST team at KPMG advises clients on how new technology will impact their business and delivers innovative end-to-end digital transformation. We work with digital and functional leaders across industries and sectors to define their vision for digital transformation, develop tailored technology and data strategies, align with IT assets to be more customer centric, and create and execute implementation plans that drive business value. Please note that for Technology Strategy and Transformation, applicants should demonstrate a clear interest in technology or data and/or possess Computer Science, System/Product Design, Information Technology, Data and Analytics, Engineering background or equivalent experience. People & Change We advance our client’s business performance by helping to shape and navigate the important people dynamics related to the transformation of work, capabilities, and behaviours. Enterprise Solution (Microsoft, Workday, Oracle) Provide consulting and implementation services using powerful Enterprise Solutions to empower the client and facilitate their business processes. The Microsoft team is part of the enterprise solutions family at KPMG and is currently its largest member. Its purpose is to accompany clients through technological transformation projects and lead the way in helping companies enhance their data security and management of business processes. The team holds strong expertise of different Microsoft products such as Microsoft Azure, Power BI, Dynamics 365, and is particularly well-versed in the areas of data security, cloud-based software, and ERP and CRM implementations. KPMG has an ever-growing Workday practice in Canada. Our team includes various Workday Product Leads, as well as some of the very first Workday-certified Consultants in the country. Our Workday practitioners span the breadth of HR functional knowledge, technical know-how and blend the latest trends in both Human Resources and Financial domains. What you bring to the role FOR CONSULTANT LEVEL: You are enrolled in a university degree program (we will be considering candidates from a spectrum of programs such as Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Commerce, Arts, etc.). You are a highly motivated individual, enthusiastic about taking on a variety of challenges and opportunities You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal You have a strong academic record You have the ability to work independently without supervision You have strong problem solving and analytical abilities, as well as a proven track record of successfully dealing with competing priorities and deadlines under pressure You have a strong sense of personal accountability You have an entrepreneurial drive, and are a creative problem solver FOR SENIOR CONSULTANT LEVEL: Senior Consultants usually join Management Consulting with significant work experience, coming from an MBA, PhD, MD, JD or other advanced degree program. Senior Consultant are expected to be able to come into the Management Consulting team and immediately make a significant impact. Those coming from undergraduate degrees or master’s degrees with less than 2 years’ work experience should consider applying for the Consultant position. You are currently in your first, second, or third year of study. You are a highly motivated individual, enthusiastic about taking on a variety of challenges and opportunities You have strong interpersonal skills and professional maturity; demonstrated ability to effectively interact and build relationships with a diverse group of clients and colleagues You have strong problem solving and analytical abilities, as well as a proven track record of successfully dealing with competing priorities and deadlines under pressure You have an entrepreneurial drive, and are a creative problem solver You have a strong academic record from your undergraduate or master’s degree You are able to support general project management and oversee the planning, scheduling and completion of objectives and engagements, asset development and other initiatives.
