Responsibilities Responsible to coordinate and manage environment risk assessment and reduction activities to minimize the potential for harm - and to intervene when conditions immediately threaten life and health in the organization through a systematic approach that involves a proactive evaluation. Supervise work activities of cleaning personnel to ensure clean, orderly, and attractive conditions in the Hospital for a safe, sanitary and efficient environment for patients, staff and visitors. Qualifications Master Science Environmental Management from an accredited college or university, OSHA education and certification. Related laws, codes and federal and locals regulations. Life Safety Code, Occupational Safety and Health Act, Amercians with Disability Act, PR Law 40 (august 3, 93), Law 101 Health Department. Must have a minimum of three years of supervisory experience in an maintenance function, preferably in health facilities. Strong interpersonal skills and problem solving ability. Excellent verbal/written communication and presention skills.
