Method Engineer

<p>Role Mission:</p>

<ul>
<li>Ensure that all the Fabrication &amp; Construction Methods Activities are properly and correctly carried out, ensuring the required level of Safety &amp; Quality while meeting budget constraints.</li>
<li>Develop fabrication / construction procedures, study and define operations ensuring structural components integrity in temporary construction phases like erection, transportation/lifting/load-out of subassemblies, develope and issue calculations and procedures for lifting, weighing, onshore transportation, load-out and ballasting, ensuring strict compliance with HSE requirements.</li>
<li>Provide support to other functions including proposal &amp; project teams (from home office during bid phase &amp; early detailed engineering phase, then at fabrication yards &amp; construction sites) as required/needed guiding towards, agreeing upon and implementing the most efficient and effective solutions for the fabrication/construction activities benefiting project economics, liaising with the Engineering function to ensure early integration into the Design.</li>
<li>Capable of acting as constructability coordinator and assisting project-nominated constructability coordinators &amp; construction engineers, organize and participate in design and constructability reviews in order to ensure fabrication &amp; construction requirements (HSE &amp; Productivity) are also integrated early into the Design.</li>
<li>During bid &amp; early EPC phase; assist the Constructon Methods Lead in preparing requests for quotation &amp; technical bid evaluations for the activities pertaining to SME&
39;s domain of expertise.</li>
</ul>

<p>Major Tasks:</p>

<ul>
<li>Ensure work is executed in accordance with plans, design codes and specifications.</li>
<li>Ensure optimum interface with other members of the Construction methods department (incl. draftsmen &amp; other engineers) and other members of the Construction &amp; Subcontracting department (e.g. construction managers &amp; engineers), project teams, MWS &amp; clients as adequate. Ensure technical coordination with internal and external clients, including attendance at interface meetings.</li>
<li>Maintain filing system, document review and distribution as adequate. Ensure the relevant feedback and lessons learned are captured &amp; recorded within the system.</li>
<li>Develop methods statements / procedures, supervise assigned draftsmen and external subcontractors, ensuring that deliverables, equipment, facilities and services meet specified requirements (putting HSE first, ensuring full compliance with international standards, while challenging clients&
39; requirements when required for the benefit of the project).</li>
</ul>

<p>Requirements:</p>

<ul>
<li>Knowledge of EPIC process workflow and deliverables (Engineering-Procurement-Construction- Installation-hook up). Knowledge of the Information Systems for Fabrication &amp; Hook-ups (FMS, DACS, Primavera, SAP, etc.).</li>
<li>Being able to input and retrieve all type of information from tools and to manage and control multi-projects yard operations.</li>
<li>Ability to setup Information Technology tool within a yard/project.</li>
