We have an exciting new opportunity to join our Binney Street team as the Sr. Manager, GMP Facilities. Reporting to the Head, Engineering and Facilities, you will join the Facilities Team in the management of a 105K square foot blended office, research, and GMP manufacturing facility. You will be primarily focused on supporting our GMP manufacturing suites. The successful candidate will have the ability to operate at multiple levels to support the organization. Key Responsibilities: You will be the Facilities Team GMP subject matter expert Support and own Change Controls, CAPAs and Deviations Author, revise and implement SOP’s Participate in creating and managing facility and utility preventative and reactive maintenance programs Approve and close our work maintenance orders Directly manage and oversee internal and external associates, facility work orders, and service delivery Work in the Blue Mountain RAM CMMS Oversee JCI BMS operations and controls Manage and promote a safe and comfortable work environment Accountable for the cleaning and sanitization programs Audit and maintain facility owned inventories of supplies and equipmen Coordinate maintenance work across key stakeholders including critical facility shutdowns Collaborate with Facility Ops-Lab Ops team in developing best practices Must be able to be on call as required and carry a cell phone to respond to facility emergencies Oversee projects Additional duties and responsibilities as business needs dictate Why you? Basic Qualifications: 5 -7 years of experience within a GMP facility support/management role Proficient in MS Office Suite, and be comfortable in a modern cloud-based SaaS IT infrastructure Strong ability to manage multiple projects and willingness to work effectively in a highly collaborative and diverse environment as a cross functional team player Strong work ethic with strong written and oral communication skills Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment Strong inter-personal skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize resources, positively influence group behaviors, and work with associates to gain consensus Ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team with a positive attitude, sense of humor, strong sense of urgency, and a bias towards action Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field. Equivalent education/experience combinations will be considered OSHA-10 or more preferred Why GSK?
