Work Scope Summary:</p>
<p>
The temporary role of the Subsea Controls Project Engineer (Specialist) is to fill a stewardship role, working within a close Subsea Team. They will provide controls engineering, commissioning and subsea project expertise in support of delivery of subsea projects.</p>
<p>
The majority of the client's ongoing project related activities are electrically biased and related to control systems IRM.</p>
<p>
The Project Engineer will have a high degree of electrical-mechanical competence and will undertake the following scopes of work:</p>
<p>
Provide stewardship and day-to-day oversight and engineering support for the Asset Umbilical installation and Commissioning Project.</p>
<p>
Provide or assist in compilation, development and review of procedures and commissioning documents required to prepare for and execute the work.</p>
<p>
Provide oversight and liaison with contractors and vendors.</p>
<p>
Support material readiness, transportation, customs and tracking prior to and during the campaign.</p>
<p>
Account for spare parts used in the commissioning and prepare a movement account and tally of spare parts returned.</p>
<p>
Assist with compilation, review as necessary, and provide other support as may be required for the Asset Umbilical installation and Commissioning Project</p>
<p>
Facilitate post execution wash-up and operational review - internal &amp; external (with contractor).</p>
<p>
Document suggestions for ongoing improvements to subsea project execution and contribute to lessons learned.</p>
<p>
Progress initial Project Front end Engineering in relation to a proposed new control umbilical to be installed in support of the fields.</p>
<p>

<p>
Prepare Scopes of Requirements for EPIC contractors.</p>
<p>
Solicit budgetary costings.</p>
<p>
Develop Project assurance in line with client's Project Management Standard, including identifying project risks through standard tools i.e. HAZID.</p>
<p>
Provide stewardship for evaluation and selection of most appropriate contracting strategy moving into detailed design and prepare recommendation for long lead procurement.</p>

Other:</p>
<p>
Provide technical and project assurance input into other execution scopes as may be required.</p>
<p>
Review Project documentation for acceptance into Operations.</p>
<p>
</p>
<p>
Travel Required:</p>
<p>
Offshore (Platform/Vessel) and onshore vendor site visits as required.</p>
<p>
Summary of Main Tasks</p>
<p>

Contribute to the management and delivery of onshore and offshore project scopes for upcoming Subsea campaigns.</p>
<p>
Support and deliver assigned subsea project work scopes.</p>

Relevant subsea project experience including responsibility for delivery.</p>
