Segment: S&P Global Sustainable1 The Role: Lead Software Engineer Grade: 11 Location: Richmond, VA (Remote) The Team: We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and skilled Lead Software Engineer for Sustainable1. This developer would help us to accelerate our Climate Analytics work. The Impact: The Lead Software Engineer will work to improve and enhance the architecture, design, scalability, and performance of our cutting-edge Climanomics™ platform What’s in it for you: It’s a fast-paced agile environment that deals with huge volumes of data, so you will have an opportunity to sharpen your data and leadership skills while work on an emerging technology stack Responsibilities: Design and implement software components for Climanomics platform. Perform analysis and articulate solutions through documentation. Design underlying systems for use in multiple product offerings supporting a large volume of end-users. Develop project plans with task breakdowns and estimates. Manage and improve existing solutions. Solve a variety of complex problems and work out potential solutions, weighing the costs and benefits.
