Job Description Customer Experience Associate III The position pays up to $17.00/hr Position Summary: Provides support to the Coordinated Care Department including both providers and utilization review staff. Position has a solid understanding of certification services/procedures based upon national benchmarks and utilization review policies and procedures. The Coordinated Care Assistant interacts regularly with co-workers, health care providers, physicians, patients, and claims administrator personnel to exchange required certification information. Qualifications: Minimum of one year experience in a Utilization Management or related setting. Proficiency in basic medical terminology. Completion of Medical Terminology course; desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel, Access (others as identified by supervisor). Creates error-free documents. Effective communication skills—verbal, written, interpersonal, and phone, in order to interact with internal departments and external contacts. Accurate spelling, grammar, and documentation preparation skills. Ability to work with a wide range of personalities in a courteous, effective, and efficient manner, representing Conduent in a professional manner. Ability to attend to numerous details under the stress of maintaining courteous, accurate and timely relations with a variety of individuals. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and department managers, and medical providers. Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision. Ability to apply common sense understanding in carrying out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to comprehend the consequences of various problem situations and to refer such problems to the appropriate individual (or supervisor) for decision-making. High school diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience. Responsibilities: Adheres to all Company policies, procedures, employee handbook, and rules. Adheres to all safety-related policies, procedures, and rules. Promotes a safety awareness and commitment at all times. Works professionally and efficiently with other Conduent employees to achieve the Company’s Vision and Mission Statement. Maintains confidentiality of information received, provided, or processed. Signs and adheres to the Conduent Confidentiality Agreement. Assists coordinated care staff with certifications by reviewing information submitted for completeness and adherence to review policies; collection and transfer of data; acquisition of structured clinical data. Performs a variety of general administrative duties for the Coordinated Care Department: Responds to voicemail messages from the Coordinated Care Department voicemail box. Answers telephone calls to the Coordinated Care Department. Facilitates electronically filing/scanning of medical records in the appropriate format and location. Documents all encounters with providers and requests in online system. Operates a variety of office-related equipment, such as multi-line phone system, computer, scanner, and copier. Regularly interacts with Third Party Administrators to exchange certification information. Participates in quality improvement strategies by assessing individual and employer satisfaction of programs. Identifies and addresses quality issues. Maintains knowledge of cultural differences including socioeconomic factors, cultural traditions, and spiritual beliefs. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with patients, providers, and payers. Assists in the implementation and adherence to policies, procedures, and new programs related to Utilization Management and Quality Improvement. Collaborates with other departments to promote coordination and communication within the Company regarding integration of administrative activities, quality improvement, and clinical operations. Assists other administrative staff, as needed. Seeks out other administrative staff that might need assistance when own work is up-to-date. Other duties and responsibilities as directed by supervisor. About the Role As a Transaction Processing Associate, you will provide document review and data entry support to our client. Your assistance will make a positive difference in the organization you support. You will be able to provide successful administration. As a Transaction Processing Associate, you will be responsible for: Providing production services to client operations by performing administrative tasks such as data-entry, document processing and scanning Receiving documents from both electronic and hard copy form for accurate processing Processing documents by following internal processes and identifying any gaps in required information Identifying documents and their purpose to create a database of information Providing great customer service.
