These professionals encompass all upstream technical disciplines (geology, geophysics, petrophysics, reservoir engineering, drilling and completion and development planning / facilities engineering), with midstream and downstream engineering and economics, commercial, legal and business strategy professionals.<br><br>As a Principal Reservoir Engineering, you will be responsible for:<br><ul><li>Providing reservoir engineering input to multi-disciplinary projects, including field development planning, reservoir performance analysis, and reserves estimation and auditing;<br></li><li>Conducting reservoir engineering studies using appropriate, state of the art techniques including reservoir simulation, material balance, decline curve analysis, well test analysis, PVT and SCAL data analysis;<br></li><li>Advising clients on reservoir engineering matters; on reserves and resources evaluation and reporting methodology;<br></li><li>Leading projects and manage multi-disciplined project teams, acting as the principal point of contact for the client;<br></li><li>Contributing to the development of other staff members for example through mentoring and to the maintenance of high technical standards through GaffneyCline.<br></li><li>Developing the client base through interactions with private and public clients, including national oil and gas companies, governments, international oil and gas companies, regulatory bodies, financial institutions etc.<br></li><li>Contributing to enhancing the GaffneyCline brand including presentation at external events<br></li><li>Presenting data, interpretations and reports to clients either individually or as part of the larger project team•<br></li></ul><br><br><b>Fuel your passion</b><br><br>To be successful in this role you will:<br><ul><li>Have a Master's Degree in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent<br></li><li>Demonstrate a proven track record and global leadership credentials, ideally with experience of working for an operator and liaising with government entities<br></li><li>Show a track record of developing new business and extending current client relationships<br></li><li>Possess excellent written, verbal communication and presentational skills, with recent experience of presenting at external industry events and report writing<br></li><li>Have an understanding of related technical disciplines and familiarity with the workings of multi-disciplined reservoir and field development studies with a proven track record of working in a diverse range of operating environments;<br></li><li>Illustrate thorough knowledge of reservoir simulation, material balance, decline curve analysis, PVT and SCAL data analysis, reserves and resources evaluation;<br></li><li>Be highly motivated with excellent analytical and interpersonal skills<br></li><li>Be advanced in project management with a sound ability to manage time, make quality decisions, and manage and measure work<br></li><li>Have excellent problem solving skills with a drive for results and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously<br></li></ul><br><br><b>Work in a way that works for you</b><br><br>We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
