Electrical Project Engineer

Mission: Customer Project Engineer effective in collaboration in Electrical Distribution Projects. Help developing project and achieving revenue performance targets. Experience in MV/LV equipment and auxiliary systems: protections, control and automation (selectivity studies, communication networks, automatic transfers ...) Main responsibilities of the position are the following: Collaboration with execution team of each project and all stages of the project (identify necessary resources and define responsibilities of the project team, internal kick off meetings and with customer ... etc.) Review technical specification and take decisions on technical comments raised by the customer. Monitor and control projects progress to ensure the on-time delivery of the projects. Use the tracking board tool and take pro-active decisions and actions to prevent any slippages. Ensure full & effective reporting of project progress & status to management. Risks & Opportunities analyze, identifying, mitigating, and controlling any potential situations that could impact (negatively or positively) the performance of the project. Coordinate with suppliers and customers projects in Electrical Distribution area. Interlocution with national and international Group factories. As interlocutor with subcontractors during execution of the project and monitor subcontractors in terms of delivery time (lead time), cost and quality. Collaboration to obtain margin improvement and results budgeted in the projects and issues under is involved. Take pro-active decisions and actions to prevent negative margin deviation. Collaboration to obtain Variation Order & Claim process for both, Customer and main suppliers. Obtain Variation Orders for any deviation from the contractual scope. Mitigate any source of conflict with customer or suppliers throughout the project execution phase. Manage the FAT event. Establish key relationships with all business relevant stakeholders. Soft skills Required: Entry level to 2 years’ experience in the specific role but may have some general working experience on others similar roles. Technical Engineer or Bachelor of Engineering Requested experience in engineering and execution on Electrical Distribution Projects. Valuable knowledge and experience in execution MV/LV electrical installations and dimensioning of the electrical network (TRF, cables, Inverters…) Valuable knowledge in control and monitoring systems (PLCs, Communications, DMS ....) applied to Electrical Distribution Systems.
