Turnaround Planner

Leap29 are currently working with an international client, based in the Netherlands, which currently operates in range of industries including, petrochemical, chemical, renewables, and others.<br />

Our client is currently looking for an experienced Turnaround Planner, to work on exclusive projects within the construction industry.<br />
<br />
Location: Rotterdam, The Netherlands<br />
<br />
Duration: 24 month contract<br />
<br />
Start Date: Immediately<br />
<br />
Main Responsibilities</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<ul>
<li>Develop and implement the Construction project schedule</li>
<li>Incorporate, Align, and implement Work Breakdown and Project Coding Structures</li>
<li>Coordinate the Work Activities with Internal Construction Stakeholders and construction contractors</li>
<li>Facilitate construction progress review meetings</li>
<li>Manage project schedule including critical path activities</li>
<li>Review and discuss schedule float i.e., vis-a-vis schedule slippages</li>
<li>Analyse variances schedule performance against the plan; provide a consistent narrative</li>
<li>Develop &quot;What-If&quot; Scenarios as needed</li>
<li>Facilitate Interactive Planning (IAP) Sessions</li>
<li>Use Critical Path (CPM) and resource loaded scheduling process for communication of monthly</li>
</ul>

<li>Provide Physical progress tracking, and earned value analysis for the entire construction work scope</li>
</ul>

<p>Basic Job Requirements<br />
&nbsp;</p>

<ul>
<li>Experience as a Lead Planner for Project Planning in refining/construction projects or EPC projects</li>
<li>Highly skilled in MS Office, Primavera P6 &amp; MS Project Software</li>
<li>Conversant with Primavera Risk Analysis, PRA Software</li>
<li>Between 15-20 years of work-related experience</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills</li>
<li>Understanding of phases of a project: Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and start-up</li>
