ÞvOps Engineer - Opportunity for Working Remotely

If you have a passion for optimizing developer workflows and facilitating high velocity software delivery, you will have the opportunity to drive significant productivity optimization in this DevOps Engineer role. You will implement improvements to CI/CD, automated testing and source code management to ensure that a global team of developers works at top efficiency. Our Team The Lifecycle Maturity Engineering team works across the enterprise to engineer, automate and operationalize business processes. The team is globally distributed with substantial expertise in the areas of process, policy and strategy as well as full-stack software development. Working with Lifecycle Maturity Engineering team you will have a unique opportunity to make a transformational impact to the way VMware manages the lifecycle of its product portfolio. What you will be doing in that role? You will manage critical CI/CD pipelines, powered by Pivotal Concourse, to ensure seamless delivery of Salesforce deployments as well as Python microservices. You will assist team members in automating all aspects of release and deployment to remove manual processes and increase productivity. You will drive the implementation of pipeline tooling, such as static code analysis and automated testing to enhance the security and quality of our software. You will take the lead in managing GitLab to ensure source code is organized and secure and that development branching strategies align to team requirements.
