<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is recruiting for an <b>E&I Commissioning Engineer</b> to join our team in Perth, WA. T his is a permanent role to join our expanding Oil and Gas Operations team, due to recently securing several large projects with existing long-term clients, in addition to a new and significant brownfields engineering opportunity with a major player in the LNG industry. <br><br>Wood's Operations APAC (West) business delivers brownfields engineering, procurement, construction, optimisation, and technical services to the Oil & Gas sector and enjoys long-term partnerships with the region's most prominent producers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Kazakhstan. <br><br>Reporting to the Lead E&I Engineer. To be successful in your role, you will have prior commissioning experience in the Offshore LNG, Oil & Gas sectors within an EPCM engineering environment with both onshore and offshore scope of work engagements. <br><br>Responsibilities <br><ul><li> Accountable for the safe and timely preparation and execution of the project Electrical & Instrument commissioning work scope in adherence with project HSEQ safety targets, procedures and practices </li><li> Review and approve electrical commissioning procedures - ensure compliance with project standards, specifications and procedures </li><li> Accountable for developing the project electrical commissioning strategy and approving electrical procedures </li><li> Accountable for ensuring electrical commissioning is carried out in accordance with project schedules and budget </li><li> To play an active role in ensuring that all project HSE goals are achieved and where possible exceeded </li><li> Actively participate in all company and project safety initiatives </li><li> To process safe completion of designated electrical commissioning activities in line with the project schedule and milestones in a consistent and timely manner </li><li> To assist in maintenance of the project budget through diligence and utilisation of efficient and working practices </li><li> Liaise with the electrical engineering office to ensure that the electrical fabrication drawings are produced in line with commissioning requirements </li><li> Audit site / project electrical activities on a regular basis to ensure all compliance with project safety, environmental, and quality requirements </li><li> Monitor and report electrical commissioning progress on a regular basis </li><li> Approve all electrical system/sub-system mechanical completion, pre-commissioning and commissioning sign-off certificates / milestones </li><li> Ensure a safe Electrical Permit to Work and isolation system is in place and adhered to </li></ul><br> At Wood, we look for innovative ideas and an agile approach to deliver the best possible outcomes and offer you an opportunity to progress and thrive by working collectively and making an active contribution. <br><br>Join us in the heart of Perth's CBD at Dexus Place - 240 St Georges Terrace, free 24/7 access to an exclusive on-site gym, superb end of trip facilities, coffee machines serving on demand and plenty of spaces to get creative. Interstate relocation package available. </b><br><br>Ideally, you will be a qualified engineer with an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering or related subject and have: <br><ul><li> TBOSIET / OGUK medical (or equivalent) </li><li> MSIC </li><li> Electrcial Instrumentation certificate IV </li><li> EEHA certificate IV </li><li> HAZID / HAZOP training </li></ul><br> <b> What will set you apart will be your vast experience in commissioning and hook-up in Oil & Gas on onshore and offshore assets. </b> <br><br>Shortlisting will commence in January 2023.
