A data manager is responsible for developing, overseeing, organizing, storing, and analysing data and data systems. A data manager ensures that all of this is always done with the utmost security and confidentiality, and in a timely manner Lead the engineering teams. Overall responsible for the architecture, technical design, vision, and implementation strategy. Get the product plans executed and own the delivery commitments. Develop and evolve engineering processes to optimize team efficiency and product quality. Mentor and guide a high performing team. Collaborate closely with product management, design, consultants, customers, and cross-functional teams to keep the development team aligned with product goals Define clear team quarterly and yearly goals and guide with the execution. Review and provide feedback on features, technology, architecture, design, and creative problem solving. Take the deal in defining team culture and product vision. Experience with Linux configuration, SQL databases, Python, Azure and other related applications Experience on managing Data projects involving any of Cloud Platforms (Azure/AWS) Ability to work with large data sets will help you in this position Excellent organizational skills Ability to extrapolate conclusions from large data sets Experience in Agile Methodology Good understanding of and affinity with Integrated Oil & Gas industry is preferred Understanding of Datawarehouse, Data Lake, Big data technologies Industry leading certifications such as PMP/ACP/Prince2 would be an added advantage Upstream - Oil and Gas
