You're (quite rightly) proud of the contribution you make to SEN children's' learning - the work you do as a Teaching Assistant is both valuable and rewarding.</p><p>A fantastic SEN school in rural Billericay are searching for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work on a 1:1 basis with a student with social, emotional and mental health needs. The student is a year 9, accessing the primary curriculum so someone with primary experience is desirable. They are looking for an LSA who is compassionate, resilient and willing to learn. The secondary school offer fantastic training in behaviour support and mental health so you will be prepared to support this students to the best of your ability.</p><p>This opportunity to work with social, emotional and mental health needs is available to start ASAP and will be a full-time, long-term position. The school will consider Learning Support Assistants who have worked mainstream primary and/or in SEN/SEMH provisions. Most important to the school is your passion for helping young people with mental health as the children are in the heart of everything they do!</p><p>As a Learning Support Assistant you will be supporting the emotional development, behavioural needs and academic development of the student, overcoming any barriers to learning and promoting self-esteem.</p><p>If you are hoping to explore a career in Psychology, Education, Social Work or in the Criminal Justice system this is a fantastic opportunity for you.
