Field Equipment Engineer

<p>Role Description<br />
Mission<br />
? Lead the Rotating Equipment Engineering activities in accordance with Project requirements within the assigned budget,<br />
time schedule and quality standards. Ensure compliance with all Project interfaces and supervise in/out information flow<br />
? Contribute to the capitalisation of Project experience in order to improve and harmonize work methodologies through<br />
continuos improvement and best practices<br />
? Implement the Company guidelines and KPI monitoring within the Project<br />
Tasks<br />
The Engineer executes the activities within own area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE<br />
requirements.<br />
Tasks include:<br />
A-Development Technology know how and Commercial support<br />
? Provide technical support<br />
B-Feasibility<br />
? Provide technical support<br />
C-Bidding phase/Commercial proposal development<br />
? Review technical tender documentation<br />
? Prepare rotating equipment technical documentation for inquiry<br />
? Review and make technical evaluation of machinery bids received by Vendors<br />
? Prepare material take-off to support construction cost estimate<br />
? Support Lead in defining cost evaluation for machinery and other equipment related to Machinery department<br />
? Support Lead to define machinery department engineering man hours estimate<br />
D-Project Execution (Job progress and completion)<br />
? Support Project Machinery Lead to review Contractual technical documentation and requirements<br />
? Support Machinery Lead in defining engineering requirements and interface with other disciplines. Optimise engineering<br />
standards while ensuring minimal cost and simplification in compliance with the required performance<br />
? Prepare technical documentation for requisitions (e.g. technical supply specification, mechanical data sheets)<br />
? Support Machinery Lead in technical negotiation with vendors. Review and supervise subcontracted discipline engineering<br />
documents<br />
? Prepare technical tabulation and technical evaluation for any type of rotating equipment submitted by Vendors<br />
? After order award: follow-up engineering activities and interface assigned machinery equipment/package included in<br />
purchase orders<br />
? Review, mark-up comments and finalise all vendor drawings, interfacing with other process or technical disciplines<br />
? Attend to internal review activities and participate to inter-discipline review meetings<br />
? Participate to and assist technical disciplines to perform engineering activities (e.g. utilities and electrical load list, layouts,<br />
3D, routings)<br />
? Provide support for expditing and testing activities<br />
? Provide support for document management and certified final documentation<br />
? Support Discipline Lead in the activity with Project functions including Procurement and Construction<br />
? Support Discipline Lead to define Machinery Equipment construction inspection plan and during preparation of equipment<br />
weights and dimensions to assist Construction activities E-Construction and start up<br />
? Assist construction activity providing information and clarification through vendor(s<br />
? Take part in site supervision, inspection, testing and quality controls<br />
? Coordinate activities for as built drawing<br />
? Assist engineering modifications on site</p>
