Inspector - Swing shift

Job Summary Performs visual and dimensional inspection on a wide variety of label products. Determines whether the products meet customer and internal quality standards. Documents the results of inspection activities on manufacturing records. Maintains control of products to ensure lot integrity. Informs lead when non-conforming materials are identified and ensures segregation and control of non-conforming materials at all times. Essential Job Responsibilities Inspect products against manufacturing order instructions and mechanical drawings for: correct part number, graphics, colors, materials, adhesives, dimensions, and order quantities. Measure parts against drawing tolerances using common inspection equipment which includes: dial/digital calipers, micrometers, radius gages, scales, and other equipment as necessary; to ensure they meet or exceed quality, customer, and order specifications. Operate label rewinding equipment including camera aided roto-flex inspection system. Package inspected products and label them for traceability according to packaging/labeling requirements and GMN practice. Ensure all manufacturing records/documents are accurate and complete and have proper information for processing of parts by reviewing the documents to ensure compliance with regular practices. Carefully deliver parts to the final QC audit area for final verification according to schedule requirements. Maintain clean, safe and neat work environment; ensuring not only your area is safe but helping to identify other safety concerns to appropriate manager(s). Maintain an ability to work a flexible shift, as needed. >
