<div class="mds-edited-text mds-font-body-copy-bulk"><b>Pastoral Lead </b><br />Horizon Teachers are recruiting for a Pastoral LEAD to join a SEN school based in Bromley. <br />The school is an independent day specialist provider of education and care for young people and adults aged 5 to 19 years who have been diagnosed with Autism (ASC). The School ensures that our school environment supports learning and promotes the well-being of pupils and staff through a strong sense of community cohesion.<br /><br /><b>Job Responsibilities</b><br />-To support the Leadership Team to establish effective strategies in all areas of positive behaviour support<br /> To develop and implement long-term behaviour plans that will guide staff to support students to overcome barriers to learning and maximise the opportunities provided for them<br />- Working under the direction of the Headteacher to provide support to all students in enabling them to achieve their potential both academically and socially<br />-The successful candidate will also contribute towards the school's commitment to reduce exclusions.<br /><br /><b>Essential criteria:</b><br />Experience of work within an education setting<br />Pastoral management experience in a care setting or the special educational needs sector<br />Experience of driving and advising on best practice in relation to positive behaviour support<br />GCSE in Maths and English (Grade C/Level 4 and above) or Level 2 equivalent<br />Willingness to work towards further qualifications as required<br />Undertake relevant group induction training on commencement<br /><br /><br /><br />Horizon Teachers is a specialist Education Recruitment Consultancy that helps Teachers and Support Staff find long term, permanent and interim employment in Primary, Secondary and Special Schools throughout London and the South East.
