<p>A fantastic, new opportunity has arisen here in Waltham Forest to become a Senior Worker - Complex female lead primarily supporting women who are homeless and rough sleeping to access substance misuse services and improve their life opportunities across several domains including health and wellbeing, safety and offending behaviours, rough sleeping or begging in Waltham Forest. We are hoping this role will be for you!</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>
<p>Working with a small cohort of service users, the successful candidate will work alongside the Street Outreach Service to engage women and other service users on a one-to-one basis to assess and identify their individual needs and support them to access treatment for substance misuse and associated and wider health and social needs. You should have excellent communication and partnership working skills as the role requires you to support often complex service users to engage in holistic recovery plans to engage in drug and alcohol treatment and wider healthcare provision and in some cases to reconnect to their country of origin.</p>
<p>The all-aged substance misuse treatment and recovery service in Waltham Forest provides access to a range of interventions and treatment options for people experiencing problems with alcohol and substance misuse, promoting a focus on harm reduction, prevention and recovery. We are looking for a motivated, organised and committed individual to join our specialist substance misuse outreach team.</p>
<p><strong>Salary Range (pro rata if part time)</strong></p>
<p>CGL points 28 to 30 (£30,316.74 - £32,412.09)</p>
<p><strong>ILW / OLW /Fringe</strong> Outer London Weighting (£2,080.07)</p>
