Sector IT Sr Analyst

Responsibilities Guides and coaches the Scrum Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high-quality products and services to our customers and consumers Designs, plans and oversees the support and sustain services to fullfill the business requirements in the domain of Data & Analytics Solutions Oversees the workload and effectiveness of a specialized team of application support specialists, contractors, consultants, managed services and external vendors ensuring they’re capable and motivated and actively engaged in their work Gets team to a high-performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques Contribute to the development and execution of data strategy and roadmap Lead the data discovery and exploration work for various business initiatives and digital products Implement various data and business intelligence projects, translate business problems and opportunities into data solutions, lead the efforts to acquire and prepare datasets and deliver appropriate data products to end-users Explore continuous improvement to data solutions, by addressing data quality root cause, encouraging end-users to self-serve, analyzing business requests, and implementing the changes Coach users to assess and analyze data via various data tools like Tableau, Power BI, BO, QlikView, SQL, R, Python Knime, Alteryx, or other new data tools Maintain ongoing data quality engine by providing sustainable training to business users and product teams Encourage visibility and re-usability of data by co-owing meta-data cataloging with users and technical teams Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff Serves as an SME (Subject Matter Expert) and acts as the company’s internal and external liaison for applications for all domains (Sales, Marketing, Finance,HR and Supply Chain) Fullfills service level agreements with respect to availability, performance, capacity and security Ensures that system information (knowledge bases, procedures, test scripts etc.) is up to date and accurate Managing vendors/partners/OLA/SLA and handling agreement and purchasing activities Conducts budget and cost management for Data Analytics Solutions including AOP planning, forecast, actuals/accurals, risk&opportunity and productivity targets Ensures security compliance of all systems in Data Analytics Solutions domain, to regularly audit security controls and proactively implement preventive measures. Manage security exemptions and remediations accordingly Leads transition to sustain activities for new app/services in Data Analytics Solutions Escalate and route complex or unresolved problems to respective sector/global teams License management for the Data Analytics Solutions app portfolio Managing unexpected daily problems in the domain of Data Analytics Solutions Work with business teams and provide input and support them for presentations Work with Europe Sector teams or Global teams and align with them on systems architectural designs Present slides to different teams about digital solutions to global or sector business or IT teams Deliver new capabilities on analytics products Ensure or execute all tests are passed before golive for Data Analytics products Other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience Good written and verbal communication skills in English Confirmed analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Experience in analytics or business intelligence projects Minimum of ten years of related work experience Experience in using Business Intelligence/data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI Experience in Extract Transform Load automation, R and Python programming Good knowledge of data modeling and big data technologies like Hadoop Experience in data engineering or data science Five to ten years of experience in leading data projects or managing data or business intelligence solutions Experience working in an agile environment as a Product Owner or Scrum Master Experience within data analytics domain and tools. Experience in ITIL/IT Service Management process areas (Incident, Change, Problem, Configuration Management) Experience working in Agile / DevSecOps operating model Strong functional competency in E2E processes in FMCG Strong analytical, facilitation & problem solving skills to enable to identification & proactive management of application Data Analytics domain Solid understating and usage of Agile tools
