Field Service Engineer

Responsibilities The Field Service Engineer (FSE) has the overall technical responsibility for ensuring that their sites meet all requirements of the Service Level Agreement (SLA) The FSE executes routine works as required which includes installation, repair, and maintenance support of the full range of Rapiscan’s Checkpoint foructs Installation of the full range of the Compay’s Checkpoint & Trace products at customer sites Routine preventative and corrective maintenance of the Company’s equipment at customer sites Provide out-of-hours standby cover as part of established teams Carry out basic Operator and Technical training when required at customer sites Carry out site surveys and advise the customer on technical matters prior to installations Complete all reporting requirements, both internal and customer-based reports, in a timely manner Comply with all QA and HSE requirements, as stipulated by Rapiscan Systems and relevant legislation Travel as required Uphold the company’s core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business Qualifications Certificate, Diploma, or bachelor’s degree in mechanical / Electrical / Electronic or IT-related engineering Minimum 1+ years relevant experience in installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance services of security equipment or other industry field Fresh grads will be considered Willing to work on rotating shifts Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills Ability to manage responsibilities in an independent manner Holding of driving license (Type 1 & 2) is preferred OSI Systems, Inc. has three operating divisions: (a) Security, providing security and inspection systems, turnkey security screening solutions and related services; (b) Healthcare, providing patient monitoring, diagnostic cardiology and anesthesia systems; and (c) Optoelectronics and Manufacturing, providing specialized electronic components and electronic manufacturing services for original equipment manufacturers with applications in the defense, aerospace, medical and industrial markets, among others.
