Employment decisions are made without regard to race, color, religion, national or ethnic origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, protected veteran status or other characteristics protected by law. <br><br><b> Responsibilities </b><br><br>The position of Field Specialist, is a demanding, hands-on job that makes use of the latest technologies to deliver solutions for our clients.<br><ul><li> Perform fishing operations and develop skills to properly supervise the handling and operation of fishing tools </li><li> Review job needs to make sure tools and equipment needed are in stock </li><li> Provide customer with recommendations, procedures and drawings when a changing plan is necessary </li><li> Provide customer with reports of history of tools run and results obtained, history of the job and related information prior to leaving rig site </li><li> Finalize job by getting reports, job resume signed by company representative </li><li> Actively participate in shop servicing, dressing, and loadouts of any equipment. </li><li> Perform fishing operations in accordance with company policies and customer requirements </li><li> Work 23 on and 7 off schedule and on call 24 hrs </li><li> Must complete all company training. </li></ul><br><b> Responsibilities and duties: </b><br><ul><li> Must be proficient in calculating basic oil industry volumes, pressures, and forces </li><li> Have a keen understanding of different facets of field operations </li><li> Able to work effectively drilling rig, service rig, coil units and other pulling / boring units. </li><li> Accurate & thorough job reports on a timely basis. All Jobs entered into WPTS. </li><li> Assist in the shop when available </li><li> Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions. </li><li> Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford. </li><li> Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level. </li><li> Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job. </li></ul><br><br><b> Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> 3-5 years Drilling Rig or Service Rig experience </li><li> High School diploma (or Secondary School Diploma or equivalent) as minimum. </li><li> Mechanical ability necessary to perform downhole problems </li><li> Valid Driver license and provide own transportation </li><li> Basic Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel computer skills </li><li> Self-motivator, self-starter </li><li> Good oral and written communication skills </li><li> Must be able to follow instructions Able to work closely with </li></ul>
