Responsibilities Technical Writer: Prepares draft revisions to flight operations manuals and bulletins. Create and publish short term information memos (Read Files) to Spirit flight crews. Technical Librarian: Oversees the revision cycles for Company aeronautical charts, flight crew airport information documents and audits the content of the aircraft Nav Database. Manage and organization the content on the MyMobile365 software platform. Custodian of all important documents sent to or leaving the department. Organize and manages the Departments Network folder system. Flight Operations Liaison: Promotes an efficient and effective flow of information by partnering with internal departments; Tech Ops, Airport Services, Operations Control Center, Tech Pubs, Safety/Security and In-Flight Departments. Jeppersen – Charts and subscriptions, •Honeywell – Manage content of company aircraft navigation database. Airbus – Tracks FCOM updates and coordinates compliance. AeroData.- Manages company performance requirements and track compliance with Aerodata Performance manuals. Oversee Station Opening operations involving coordination with several different departments. Researcher/Developer: Use all applicable regulatory, manufacturer, industry and company information resources to identify changes that may affect the Departments policies and procedures. Draft updates to manuals and courseware based on newly identified changes. Project Analyst: Execute assigned flight operations training project task as assigned •Provide timely updates on project progress to applicable managers. Jeppesen Liaison: Manage Jeppesen coverage/Complex Engine-out Procedures and audit Jeppesen charts in on a quarterly basis videos. May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate (e.g., emergencies change in workload, rush jobs or technical developments). Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (indicate specific field, if required). 2-3 years' experience in Flight Ops Training and/or development. Pilot's License required. Candidate must be a self-starter, work well with minimum supervision and be capable of consistently meeting deadlines under pressure while managing several programs and initiatives simultaneously. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and PowerPoint is required. Telework capacity: Hybrid. Job Summary This position administers established programs and assigned projects within the Flight Operations/Training Department and serves as the focal point for operational information relayed to Spirit Airlines flight crews.
