Roles and Responsibilities: Develop, test, and implement complex database-oriented programs and maintain existing programs, ensuring that developed business processes meet policy and functional needs. Develop applications, which may interface with other systems, specifying the user interface, supporting the actual development, and managing the integration of solutions in target environments. Troubleshoot, resolve, and establish EDI transmissions as well as provide technical support of the EDI application, maps, and interfaces. Support the architecture team in long-term planning and implementation as well as by preparing specifications for modifications and program add-ons. Build out schema and database technologies and ensure use of best practices for data driven applications within development teams. Review and optimize access strategies for application data and enforce database quality standards within the code base. Support transactional and analytical database efforts in support of the business needs. Provide end-user support and troubleshooting with regard to database software-related questions and issues. Support requests, all releases, enhancements, and new development for applications. Use data warehousing, Informatica Power Center, MoveIT, MFT, Informatica MFT, Linux Script, Oracle, OLTP and OLAP database patterns to develop and maintain programs. Basic Qualifications for Consideration: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science and five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate of experience developing, testing, and implementing complex database-oriented programs and maintaining existing programs, ensuring that developed business processes meet policy and functional needs; developing applications, which may interface with other systems, specifying the user interface, supporting the actual development, and managing the integration of solutions in target environments; troubleshooting, resolving, and establishing EDI transmissions as well as providing technical support of the EDI application, maps, and interfaces; and experience using data warehousing, Informatica Power Center, Move IT, MFT, Informatica MFT, Linux Script, Oracle, OLTP and OLAP database patterns to develop and maintain programs.
