Sales Configurator Specialist

Contributes to creation and update our EMEA IT configuration tools (BidManager) mainly for country sales organizations product & support the Business Units Main functions: Develop data table and structure for stand alone Eaton products 1- Develop in collaboration with IT & Business Units data structure & logic to support product configurator, creates and maintains relevant sales and customer-oriented specifics (pricing, configurators, calculators, analytics, etc.) as well as marketing and technical documentation supporting these. 2- Provides direct pre-sales technical support for assigned IT tool 3- Ensure data flow from configurator, through CPQ meets SAP standard order flow 4- Support Product Managers in keeping IT tools and mandatory information in the tools up-to-date through standardization approach - scalable solutions 5- perform test with key users to confirm proof oc concepts 6- On going remedy support for bug fixing and enhancements Leadership expected attributes: Acts ethically and according to Eaton Values and Philosophy following the company rules and policies (such as EBS), leads by example Is committed to achieve personal goals and to support achievement of business strategy and goals Shows active interest in developing his own work, skills and competencies Is committed to delivering high quality in all circumstances Takes responsibility for safety of everyone working in the company (reports any identified safety concerns) Contributes in creating and maintaining good working relations in the team as well as between other departments and locations Participates in Continuous Improvement activities Qualifications University Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science and/or Business, or equivalent knowledge * Demonstrates at least basic knowledge on power electronics * Experience in electrical installations and design is an advantage * Experience in AutoCAD, SQL, Visual Basic, relational database * SAP knowledge * Ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously and complete projects with tight deadlines * Ability to work in a highly international environment / in virtual teams (across different locations) / in a matrix organization * Ability to think and act strategically * Must be a self-starter with energy and enthusiasm * Must be strongly customer-oriented * Good written & oral communications skills * Good presentation skills * Good interpersonal skills * Fluent in English We make what matters work.
