Process Automation System Engineer

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood (trading locally as WoodKSS) is currently looking for a Process Automation System Engineer to join our team in Tengiz. (KZ Passport holders only) <br><br> Reports to the Site Engineering Manager <br><br> Construction Support for Construction Management and Systems Completions (as needed basis) <br><br> Ensuring that the supplied Process Control, Safety Manager and Network Systems are installed correctly, powered up, fully functioning, modified when required and completion of all necessary checks and documentation <br><br>Main purpose of the job: <br><ul><li> Support preparation for Mechanical Completion (MC) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and pre-commissioning checks on process control and safety system cabinets, fibre cabinets, networks, servers, marshalling, consoles </li><li> Provides specialist support when required for the plant start up and on-going commissioning, for example fault finding hardware and software related components </li><li> Undertake system modifications and associated management of change documentation </li><li> Provide and technically verify accurate cabinet redline mark ups </li><li> Prepare and complete fabrication queries, develop, support and complete modification packs for control systems </li></ul><br><br>Responsibilities: <br><ul><li> Actively participates in the installation / configuration / implementation & commissioning of Industrial control & safety systems to meet customer specifications (hardware and software) </li><li> Supervise technicians and specialist vendors </li><li> Ensure all testing, modifications are executed in accordance with agreed methodologies completing all necessary checks and paperwork </li><li> Provides accurate progress reporting and completion status </li><li> Responsible for technical validation and completeness of any document redlines (basis for as-building) for the assigned area </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br>Automation & Control or Electrical Engineering Degree <br><br> 8+ years of Automation experience <br><br> Knowledge and job training experience of Honeywell Safety Manager Systems and C300 process control systems (hardware and software). <br><br> Good communications (oral and written), networking, collaboration and well developed team-working skills <br><br> Fully compliant with construction sites safe working practices and behaviours. <br><br> Competent in writing reports <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
