Program & Project Lead IT/OT initiatives (f/m/d)

Location: Munich or Erlangen or any other IT location (globally) Mode of Employment: permanent / full time Make the vision of a Siemens IT/OT ecosystem for smart manufacturing real! You will be driving IOT initiatives to transform the global Siemens factory ecosystem of 120+ factories. You will initialize initiatives (incubations, projects and programs) and be responsible for the execution of initiatives to create sustainable impact for Siemens. You will influence the evolution of the Siemens product portfolio, implement scalable use cases and refence implementations to demonstrate the power of Siemens offerings, realize co-creation and customer-zero projects and optimize the factory and IT IOT ecosystem. What part will you play? Identification of opportunities to setup new initiatives with business impact potential including defining targets and scope of the initiative, aligning on implementation approach and creation of business cases to quantify the anticipated potential by the initiative Steering and execution of IOT initiatives with involvement of representatives from manufacturing, IT/OT architects, service and solution providers Aligning and reporting to stakeholders (also on CxO level) on progress and impact of corresponding initiative Elaboration and alignment of transformation roadmaps between initiatives, architecture and regional hubs Steering the ramp-up of IT/OT landscapes and services for implementation of in-scope use cases on scalable IOT building blocks being supported by architects and service managers Defining and shaping in-scope use cases for implementation in collaboration with representatives from manufacturing What you need to make real what matters A University degree in IT, engineering or business management; a combination of both is preferred Many years of experience in IT or OT project roles with demonstrated impact Understanding of business context in areas of energy management, inbound/intra-logistics, production engineering Understanding of technology in areas of edge, data-lakes, IOT platforms, cyber security Understanding of the Digital Industries product portfolio of factory automation, edge, Mindsphere, MES A passion for IT/OT convergence and understand requirements and dependencies Experience in leading others, also in mixed team setups, dealing across geographies and cultures, and communicating on top management level Good moderation skills, the ability to open rooms for visionary discussions, as well as to drive meetings to concrete practical and valuable outcomes Strong network within Siemens, especially DI, and you know how to use it You are a systemic problem solver and you are able to connect the dots You play in teams and have excellent people skills and the adaptability to connect quickly with people Proficiency in English and German We’ve got quite a lot to offer.
