<b>Responsibilities </b><br />
<br />
Weatherford have a very exciting opportunity for an experienced Supplier Performance Lead to join the team in Aberdeen. The Supplier Performance Lead is responsible to effectively develop and implement long-term supplier performance strategies for categories and sub-categories in close collaboration with the Category Management (CM) teams in line with the group and businesses strategies. This role is to enhance value and support the teams with expediting, recovery plans and improved on time performance with our critical supply base.<br />
<br />

<li>Seeks continual improvement in Health, Safety, Security &amp; protection of the Environment, taking into account responsible care, process vulnerabilities, public, customer and employee inputs, knowledge and technology and best business practices to exceed customer expectations.</li>
<li>Supervisors and Managers should demonstrate effective safety leadership for the health and safety arrangements of all subordinates and for any persons visiting them while on the Company premises.</li>
<li>Ensures to effectively use and oversee the appropriate procurement contract templates in accordance with Global Supply Chain Legal requirements to drive the best value and service, while ensuring business continuity is delivered at the highest level of quality.</li>
</ul>

<p>QUALITY</p>

<ul>
<li>Responsible for being familiar with the Company&
39;s Quality policies and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherford&
39;s Management System.</li>
<li>Maintains service quality as immediate priorities when working across all areas of the business and continually seeks areas for improvement.</li>
</ul>

<p>OPERATIONS</p>

<ul>
<li>Close collaboration with the key stakeholders to create supplier management platform and support Category Management with but not limited to the following:
<ul>
<li>Supplier pacing issues in terms of OTD, quality (with collaboration from SQE&
39;s)</li>
<li>Lead continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers. Scope extension, scope enhancement, inflation management</li>
<li>Support contract management and adherence to active contracts and price lists</li>
<li>Work in collaboration with CM&
39;s and Sourcing on contract renewal negotiations, spot negotiations and payment or invoicing support</li>
<li>Set up communication plan. Identify key stakeholders for both Weatherford and supplier to be communicated between CM and Sourcing.</li>
<li>Lead in conjunction with CM&
39;s supplier business and performance review.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Set up agreed measures with both supplier and stakeholder to review but not limited to the following:
<ul>
<li>OTD, contract coverage, spend, cost improvement initiatives, market insights and demand outlook</li>
<li>Clearly articulate any potential supply issues and work with CM and engineering to reduce supply risk with key vendors</li>
<li>Work with CM to support development of supplier growth/reduction plans</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Develops relationship management strategies by which suppliers are evaluated, selected, and managed in accordance with established guidelines and best practices
<ul>
<li>Conduct monthly or quarterly business review with the top tiers 1 suppliers</li>
<li>Develops balanced supplier score cards and report on key supplier performance metrics, conduct benchmarking studies and track contract utilization, service delivery, and service level agreement</li>
<li>Ensures key stakeholders are fully engaged and buy-into the supplier&
39;s engagement strategy</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Ensures safe and efficient utilization of company systems, tools and spreadsheets/reports and agreements.</li>
<li>Works with all relevant parties in the consolidation and rationalization of Supplier base.</li>
<li>Establishes a culture of continuous improvement to define the function&
39;s best-in-class status.</li>
</ul>

<p>COMMUNICATION</p>

<ul>
<li>Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders both internal and where appropriate external.</li>
<li>Supervisors and Managers should clearly communicate expectations, roles, and responsibilities to their reports.</li>
<li>Drive efforts to understand internal stakeholders needs and summarize business requirements as inputs into the Global-wide category strategy and supplier market.</li>
<li>Develops, maintains, and manages supplier relationships on a Global scale.</li>
<li>Ensure alignment and communication within the Product Lines and Supply Chain network to create a &quot;Stakeholders-focused&quot; environment.</li>
<li>Apply &quot;account management&quot; skills and behaviours to drive sustainable growth and Profitability.</li>
</ul>

<p>FINANCIAL</p>

<ul>
<li>All employees have an accountability to the organisation to be financially responsible whether they are in charge of a function budget or simply their own expenses.</li>
<li>Costs incurred should be within approved budget, processed within agreed time frames and following the relevant financial policy and procedure.</li>
<li>Identifies fact-based opportunities and implements actions to continually reduce Total cost of ownership, meet demand requirements and to generate savings and benefits to the business that requires alignment with Senior Category Management and Business Product Lines.</li>
<li>Interfaces with Procurement personnel to ensure the entire contract and agreement is fully implemented and seamlessly at the Global/Regions level.</li>
</ul>

<p><b>Qualifications </b><br />
<br />
REQUIRED:</p>

<ul>
<li>Bachelor&
39;s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related discipline.</li>
<li>Minimum 7 to 10+ years of experience in general sourcing, strategic sourcing, outsourcing, supply chain management or similar experience.</li>
<li>Experience with e-sourcing tools and methodologies.</li>
<li>Experience in negotiating both domestic and international agreements.</li>
<li>Demonstrated track record for closed collaboration with stakeholders and delivering significant and measurable savings in a large, complex, and fast-moving organization.</li>
<li>Ability to interact in English and potentially other language relevant in local hub.</li>
<li>Advanced knowledge of Procurement and Strategic Sourcing principles and techniques:
<ul>
<li>Procure-to-Pay full cycle, e-catalogs, e-ordering, and e-invoicing</li>
<li>Strategic Sourcing methodology and tools</li>
<li>Supplier diversity, Industry and market trend-analysis, metrics/measurement</li>
<li>Financial reporting tools, Contract Management tools, Supplier Management tools</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Strong analytical and negotiation skills, including cost models.</li>
<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation abilities.</li>
<li>Comprehend the industry and the marketplace and associated impact to the business.</li>
<li>Excellent skills to identify sourcing opportunities, perform spend analysis and develop RFX&
39;s documents.</li>
<li>Strong negotiation and contract management skills to plan, prepare and lead complex global/ regional supplier negotiations.</li>
<li>Strong teamwork, leadership, and management skills.</li>
<li>Project Management skills with ability to structure problem solving and decision making.</li>
<li>Display impeccable time-management, detail oriented and a high level of accuracy.</li>
<li>Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task with proven record of meeting deadlines.</li>
<li>Must be flexible with the ability to work in a constantly changing environment and quickly adapt to operational requirements.</li>
<li>Excellent Stakeholders collaboration and service.</li>
<li>Ability to operate across teams, cultural and organizational boundaries.</li>
<li>Intermediate Excel user and proficient in MS Office suite.</li>

<p>PREFERRED:</p>

<ul>
<li>10+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, or similar experience.</li>
<li>10+ years involved in Supplier Relationship Management.</li>
<li>Experience in working across various functions, businesses, and regions.</li>
<li>Supply Market expertise in the Oil and Gas Industry.</li>
<li>Certified Purchasing Professional CPP, CIPS, CSPC or CPM.</li>
<li>Knowledge and awareness of banking and enterprise solutions, and the competitive supplier landscape.</li>
<li>Advanced excel user.</li>
<li>Knowledge of JD Edwards and Oracle platforms and services.</li>
</ul>
