<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently recruiting a Instrumentation & Control Systems Engineer to join our team in Melbourne. Reporting to the Lead E&I Engineer, the successful applicant will be part of a busy project team delivering brownfields oil & gas modification projects for our client. <br><br><b> Responsibilities </b> <br><ul><li> Provide engineering support during the construction & commissioning phases of a project </li><li> Is project-delivery focused and able to produce I&C scopes within budget and schedule </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> Degree in a relevant engineering discipline (B.Sc/ M.Sc/ B.Eng) and eligible for membership of an internationally accepted applicable professional Institute. e.g. IET, Engineers Australia </li><li> 5 years minimum experience in the Oil & Gas Industry including Pharmaceutical, at least 3 years in a design role within the Instrumentation & Control Systems engineering discipline. EPC experience is a MUST. </li><li> Proven experience in the Offshore and Onshore LNG, O&G brownfields engineering EPCM Sector in Australia </li><li> Must be an effective communicator to efficiently interface with other engineering disciplines, project managers, clients' representatives, vendor, and subcontractors </li><li> Must be familiar with relevant local and international codes, client Design Specifications and procedures, and have a thorough working knowledge of the latest design and analytical techniques </li><li> FEED and Detailed Design experience in brownfield and green field environment with field instrumentation, Shutdown and Control valves, relief & protection equipment, Control & shutdown systems, Selection and sizing, etc </li><li> Proven experience managing risk during the design process consistent with technical and commercial requirements </li><li> Able to travel to site as and when required </li><li> Able to demonstrate team working skills </li><li> Enthusiastic, conscientious and keen to learn with a flexible can-do attitude </li></ul><br> Candidates must have full work rights in Australia to be considered for this role. <br><br>If you're an experienced Instrumentation and Controls system Engineer, ready for your next project, then we are keen to hear from you today. <br><br>Apply now and take the next step in your career with this exciting opportunity! <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
