We collaborate with our development teams in science, mechanical and electrical engineering, physics, and geoscience to develop innovative software. <br><br>Partner with the best <br><br> The Drilling Services Product and Technology Team is looking for a self-contained, motivated, and structured Firmware Development Engineer to join our team. This will be a unique opportunity to join a cross discipline team working with state-of-the-art technologies in the energy development industry. The position is based in Pune, India. <br><br> As an Engineer - Embedded Software Development, you will be responsible for: <br><br><ul><li> Developing and integrating of new and existing embedded software systems for our downhole drilling tools. </li><li> Creating of embedded software concepts, implementing, integrating and testing of the source code and architecture. </li><li> Documenting the requirements, the concept, the design and the tests. </li><li> Developing and maintaining of firmware frameworks for different microcontroller platforms including low-level driver (e.g. SPI, UART, CAN periphery). </li><li> Defining and contributing to common standards and development approaches (e.g., requirements analysis process, design- and coding styles, test standards). </li><li> Developing scripts using languages like Python for automating, debugging and testing. </li><li> Working experience with at-least one software version control and defect tracking software (e.g., SVN / GitHub). </li></ul><br><br>Fuel your passion <br><br> To be successful in this role you will: <br><br><ul><li> Have good embedded C programming experience on microcontrollers (8/16/32 bit architecture. </li><li> Have experience in scripting languages like Python. </li><li> Have 3 to 5 years of experience in embedded software development. </li><li> Have experience of digital signal processing, control loops and digital filter. </li><li> Have programming experiences on following bus technologies: CAN, SPI, UART. </li><li> Have experience in using measurement- and laboratory equipment. </li><li> Have experience of analysis of digital circuitries and technical datasheets. </li></ul><br><br>Work in a way that works for you <br><br> We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
