The primary role of this position is to manage the GL team and the monthly close of the financial statements, supervise, track and further day-to-day activities. This position will work closely with the financial management team and provide data and reports to analyze the business. ***This role is hybrid w/ a combination of on-site and remote work*** Responsibilities Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department (including month and year-end process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts and general ledger) Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports monthly Enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles Coordinate quarterly/annual audits Ability to prioritize and meet financial accounting objectives and deadlines Ensure that the balance sheet is reconciled monthly Mentor GL team to grow and develop Partner effectively with other finance leaders for seamless reporting and analysis Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions Uphold the Company’s core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork Demonstrate behavior consistent with the Company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct It is the responsibility of every Spacelabs Healthcare employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business Qualifications BS degree in Accounting or Finance Proven work experience as Accounting and/or Finance Manager 10+ years of experience in accounting and financial analysis Ability to manipulate large amounts of data High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to direct and supervise Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
