APJ Professional Services Enablement Manager

Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing? The role of the PS Enablement Manager requires close collaboration with the APJ Professional Services Leadership team; partnering to design and develop programs, content, and strategies to target post-sales specific skills, acumen, and effectiveness. You will be expected to manage the adoption of Role Based Competency programs, Quarterly Training Plans and virtual/face-to-face classes with our stakeholders. You will be expected to partner with regional leaders to accelerate the VMware SaaS transformation, track, and measure progress through KPIs/OKRs aligned to our learning programs. You will be expected to have excellent collaboration and stakeholder relationships from senior APJ leaders to regional directors to field professionals, and strong communication, organization and project management skills to track the status of multiple deliverables. You will be expected to develop relationships with other VMware and WWRACE teams as required in order to gain feedback and insight on how to best deliver enablement plans to successfully position, sell and deliver VMware products and solutions utilizing the preferred tools and resources to maintain standards for a consistent look and feel with other programs. You will be expected to collaborate with a global team and understand multiple cultural perspectives. You will be expected to identify budget needed for your stakeholder programs and seek approval within communicated timelines. Miscellaneous special projects as assigned. The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis? Engaging with APJ Leadership and Regional Directors on a regular basis to understand their strategic business priorities and enablement needs. Collaborating across the entire Professional Services organization to help deliver technical enablement to accelerate our SaaS transformation to become a customer-centric and consumption driven organization. Partnering with the other Customer Experience and Success (CXS) Enablement COE teams in AMER and EMEA to drive consistency (where appropriate) and share knowledge. Driving the development of the APJ PS enablement sessions for our annual WW Kick-off, Midyear, and other events in addition to Quarterly Training Plans. Monitoring completions to provide progress reporting to stakeholders. Representing the CXS CoE and WWRACE organization by demonstrating VMware’s EPIC2 values. What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like? This position will report directly into the Director of WWPS Enablement based in the US, and have support and mentoring from other enablement teammates based in APJ.
