Project Manager / Project Engineer

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood has an exciting opportunity for a Senior <b>Project Manager / Project Engineer</b> to lead our project team in Sarnia, Ontario. The successful candidate will be working primarily on Capital Projects with our client, in the Oil and Gas Industry. If this sounds interesting to you, then we would love to hear from you. <br><br><b> Responsibilities: </b><br><ul><li> Maintaining a co-operative, motivated and successful project team </li><li> Developing, planning, defining and executing capital investment projects </li><li> Ensuring that projects are delivered on time, to budget and required quality standards </li><li> Ensuring that projects are effectively resourced </li><li> Managing relationships with a wide range of groups, including plant Engineers/Operators, Maintenance/Safety groups </li><li> Managing the work of in-house CapEx Engineering teams and external Engineering consultants, allocating and utilising resources </li><li> Ensure project schedules are developed and maintained throughout all project stages, implement corrective measures as required </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><b> Requirements: </b><br><ul><li> Professional Engineer designation - preferred </li><li> Familiarity with multi-discipline project scopes, ie.- process/ piping design, mechanical / civil & structural / electrical/instrument & controls Engineering </li><li> NOTE: having expertise within at least one Engineering discipline is an asset </li><li> 20+ years of experience, with 5+ years Petrochem experience preferred </li></ul><br><b> Work Schedule: </b><br><ul><li> Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week </li><li> Work onsite (site based, not remote) </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
