Requires developed and strong foundation of function skills and knowledge of relevant technologies. <br><br><b>Partner with the best</b><br><br> As Lead Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for activities contributing to the technical leadership, design and development of products, solutions and systems. Including activities linked to technical improvement of existing products and components. <br><br><b>As a Lead Mechanical Engineer - you will need to be able to perform the below:</b><br><ul><li>Executing the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements. This work would include mechanical engineering for Subsea Structures, manifold, PLR, PLETS & pipings</li><li>Leads analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approached and methods.</li><li>Developing new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organizations</li><li>Develop a scope of work, plan schedule and monitor engineering activities</li><li>Working together with business leadership at SPB and EB level</li><li>working with cross functional teams, workshop, fabrication supports including travel across sites</li><li>Specifying needs, communicates about project approach and presents outcomes of research done</li></ul><br><br><b> To be successful within this position, you will need: </b><br><ul><li>Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with proven years of experience in Engineering/Technology). </li><li>Proven additional years of experience in Customer Project Engineering</li><li>Demonstrate design experience in 3D cad tools such as CREO and PLM tools</li><li>Demonstrate experience as a Mechanical design Engineer - Subsea structures, Manifold, foundations, PLR and PLETS</li><li>Piping experience is added advantage - Piping design, piping stress calculations, HISC verification, 3D piping software</li></ul><br><br><ul><li><b> Desired Characteristics </b><br></li><li>Strong oral and written communication skills</li><li>Demonstrate experience in Oil and Gas industry</li><li>Strong interpersonal and leadership skills</li><li>Proven analytical in planning, lead and effective delegation of engineering scope</li><li>Ability to influence others and lead small teams</li><li>Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact</li><li>Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously</li><li>Effective problem identification and solution skills
