We are seeking the best, to take responsibility for the execution of project work, in accordance with our procedures, within resource and cost budgets, to deliver quality work safely on time. <br><br> Our project workload is successfully expanding across a diverse range of business lines, including Decarbonisation/Green Energies, Conventional Energy, Process and Chemicals. Consequently, we are seeking Senior Control and Instrumentation Engineers to support the capital projects business in our Reading and Staines offices. <br><br><b> Scope of work </b><br><ul><ul><li> Resolve instrument queries and coordinate to resolve any technical issues with Preem during pre-commissioning and loop checking. <br></li></ul></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><b>Skills / Qualifications</b><br><ul><li> Technically astute and conversant with advances in technology, and how the resultant impacts can be realised to the best advantage. </li><li> Delivery of C&I documentation, technically correct and to schedule </li><li> Understanding and control of the procurement processes for C&I </li><li> More than ten years' experience related to the role, including the development of C&I requirements and inputs into P&IDs. </li><li> Experience in working across diverse physical locations and cultures </li><li> Experience in a similar role within the contractor environment is useful, but candidates demonstrating the right mindset from other industries will be considered </li><li> Chartered engineer (or equivalent) preferred </li><li> Degree qualified </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
