Job Overview & Requirements

The Logistics Manager will be responsible for Inbound & Outbound Logistics management (Offline and Online). Supporting and driving process excellence and continuous operation improvement where applicable. Conduct project management as per business needs while also supporting local deployment of Global and regional projects where applicable. Inbound & Outbound Logistics Management Manage all inbound Logistics arrangements with designated carriers and Regional/ Global Logistics team to ensure the best quality of inbound shipment service (OTIF). Support Strategic air, ocean and air/ocean planning to optimize inbound Logistics cost. Closely work with ELC Inventory management team and 3PL teams to prioritize urgent inbound shipment. Support 3PL Relationship Manager on the exception approval of Inbound shipment invoices. Oversee clearance and delivery of all inbound freight. Monthly review of the KPI’s relating to outbound deliveries with both Offline and Online service providers in close cooperation with 3PL Relationship Manager. Closely work with delivery service providers and 3PL on routine operation matters. Work closely with ELC Order Management/Customer service teams and 3PL to ensure the relevant operation and delivery priority to critical orders as per business needs. Co-ordinating with other members of the supply chain, including suppliers, vendors, shipping companies and 3PL warehouse Managers to ensure all shipments are delivered in full and on time. Continuous Fulfillment Improvement Assist in providing qualitative insight into affiliate projections. Ensures Australian Customs compliance and other Government regulatory compliance for area of responsibility. Reviewing prices and Logistics provider contracts to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and cost savings in conjunction with 3PL relationship Manager. Produce SOP’s for all logistics partners (not managed by regional). Tracking service providers performance and reporting on same. Assist and support 3PL relationship Manager in approving 3PL related invoices. Update Scorecard for internal and regional meetings. Assist 3PL relationship Manager in obtaining trusted trader status. Update Scorecard for internal and regional meetings. Perform cost control on all relevant service providers. Projects & Process Excellence Drive cross functional process improvements with different departments in ELC and 3PL Support implementing global and/or regional projects when applicable as per schedule. Lead operation project implementation as per business development and needs. Work with 3PL to participate in ELC projects and provide strategical solutions. Anticipates trends and their impact on current operating model. Drives processes and org changes to respond to these challenges. Assists in managing the budget tracker for the 3PL costs against approved ELC budget. Monitoring and reporting on any EHS issues. Measure and report KPI’s on 3PL as well as on forwarders, this in collaboration with 3PL relationship Manager. Qualifications Proficient in software applications (SAP R/3, MS Office, Manhattan desirable). At least 5 years experience in a complex warehouse inventory management role. Strong communicator. Drives process excellence and continuous improvements. Demonstrates strong analytical and follow-up skills. Strong drive for action and solutions. Good relationship Management. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
