• Minimum of 3 years&
39; experience as Report Coordinator or Data Recorder with adequate knowledge for the type of project undertake

 

 

• Have experience working in offshore jacket/substructure/platform inspection and external subsea pipeline inspection as minimum

 

 

• Extensive knowledge of subsea inspection, repair & maintenance (IRM) techniques and equipment

 

 

• Extensive experience working with Diving and ROV spread for subsea inspection, repair & maintenance project.

 

 

• Understanding of vessel, diving and ROV capabilities and limitations.

 

 

• Experience of managing, maintaining and coordinating offshore subsea inspection team

 

 

• Experience of working on a variety of vessels across geographical regions as a Report Coordinator or Data Recorder

 

 

 

<div>Main Responsibilities</div>

 

 

• Responsible for quality control of all offshore inspection reports, including manuscripts, computerised data records, video records, photographic records and the reporting on all aspects of the company offshore work programme.

 

 

• Responsible to control the inspection content of the work and to ensure that the objectives are attained, and inspection work-scopes are completed.

 

 

• Responsible in plan, control, oversee and execute subsea IRM activities and overall data collection from start of project until completion following requirement & standard specified by client.

 

 

• Responsible for the correct implementation of the inspection techniques and proper use of the personnel.  

 

 

• He/she will consider the qualification and experience required by the contract and will liaise with the Operations Superintendent/Diving Supervisor/ROV Supervisor about the NDT and inspection work program.

 

 

• Responsible to undertake detailed planning and preparation for inspection programmes and will ensure that the necessary departments and personnel are fully briefed and aware of all the objectives.

 

 

• Responsible to check all necessary inspection equipment and consumables are in order and available for each task.  

 

 

• Responsible to service and handle logistics of all specialised inspection equipment.

 

 

• Good command of English (oral and writing) to communicate well with relevant parties & Client for reporting purposes.

 

 

• Shall be able to produce and prepare inspection documentation which includes but not limited to datasheet, workpack and report

 

 

• Understanding of Scope of Work, Work Procedure, Project Schedule and other project related information.

 

 

• Distributing the Work Pack, Project Programme and Safety Plan.

 

 

• Perform briefing to diving and/or ROV team on scope of work, project task plan and/or any changes in work procedure.  

 

 

• Ensuring all relevant tasks are carried out safely, efficiently and all required data is captured and in accordance to client requirement. Should there is any outstanding task, the task and reason of outstanding shall be recorded.

 

 

• Ensure all Inspection / Project Procedures and Documentation are available and latest revisions distributed.

 

 

• Ensuring all data, photograph, video and/or other document at acceptable quality level and kept securely.

 

 

• Preparing and distributing inspection / dive task plans (If authorised by the Operations Superintendent).  

 

 

• Ensuring inspection / project equipment is suitably certified and tested.

 

 

• Ensuring inspection / project equipment is used for its intended purpose, maintained, inventoried and kept at secured location.

 

 

• Ensuring inspection / project equipment is accountable during mobilization, demobilization and project execution offshore.

 

 

• Assigning the work task for Data Recorder(s) and ensuring Data Recorder(s) and Technical Assistant deliver as expected.

 

 

• Working with the Diving/ROV Supervisor to ensure equipment is properly prepared for deployment.

 

 

• Provide daily update on subsea inspection progress status for operations meeting and Daily Progress Report.

 

 

• Maintaining professional working relation with all parties onboard including Client Representative.

 

 

• Drafting all required routine reports for review and submission.

 

 

• Prepare clear, concise and accurate handover note for next shift&
39;s Report Coordinator.

 

 

• Discuss with Data Recorder(s) on progress status, anomaly and any other significant/important subsea IRM project matters.

 

 

• Performing data recording works as required/necessary.
