Peak Well Systems, a wholly owned SLB (previously known as Schlumberger) company, is looking for a Workshop Assistant to join our Bayswater - Perth, WA team.<br />
<br />
The successful candidate will support the Assembly Technicians and be self-motivated and reliable to work as part of a small team.<br />
<br />
The main objective is to provide assistance to the Assembly team in providing all workshop duties with specific emphasis on ensuring the timely movement of parts through the workshop, ensuring that the parts are received, assembled and shipped to the highest specification to meet Client deadlines.<br />
<br />
<b>Requirements:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Reside in Perth, Australia or ability to relocate at own expense (no relocation offered)</li>
<li>Have the full right to live and work in Australia</li>
<li>No travel restrictions and open to relocation in Australia based on company&
39;s requirement.</li>
<li>Proven mechanical aptitude and understanding of a workshop environment.</li>
<li>Attention to detail and pride in your work environment (5S knowledge preferred).</li>
<li>Proven work ethic with a flexible attitude to changing priorities.</li>
<li>Ability to remain focussed on repetitive tasks to ensure quality is maintained.</li>
<li>Daily workshop duties, including but not limited to: Reading work orders; updating AIMS database; using hand tools; sandblasting; deburring and engraving.</li>
<li>Assist with goods receivable and despatch.</li>
<li>Excellent work ethic, reliable and self-motivated.</li>
<li>High degree of QHSE awareness and knowledge.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Ability to work unsupervised while clearly executing instructions.</li>
<li>Very good computer skills.</li>
<li>Valid driver&
39;s licence.</li>
