HV Electrical Engineer

The HV Electrical Engineer will undertake design requirements management and analysis activities to shape systems projects and designs.<br><br><b>As a HV Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for:</b><br><ul><li>Delivering design definition material including: Updates to system model, Creation and maintenance of requirement specifications, Production of design review material, Functional Design Specification. <br></li><li>&bull; Assessing and categorising new technology and products to satisfy requirements and overall system design intent <br></li><li>Facilitating collaborative design workshops, Defining and creation of documentation of system interfaces and of System Service Taxonomy <br></li><li>Deriving systems features for incorporation within designs and ensuring designs mature in a controlled manner; using a robust technical change control and impact assessment process. <br></li><li>Supporting the definition of the Verification & Validation for the project and support the generation of design verification evidence <br></li><li>Supporting the definition and delivery of the System Integration, Test, and Acceptance phases <br></li><li>Providing technical input to the associated Safety and Assurance processes to ensure the solution is inherently safe, reliable, and fit for purpose <br></li></ul><br><br><b>Fuel your passion</b><br><br>To be successful in this role you will:<br><ul><li>Have established Electrical Design Experience, working with High Voltage Systems. <br></li><li>Possess technical experience in Systems Engineering, or an interest in developing towards a re more Systems Engineering focused role. <br></li><li>Have domain expertise across power distribution and networks, although this is not essential. <br></li></ul><br><br><b>Work in a way that works for you</b><br><br>We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
