The Role: Data Engineer The Team: The Market Intelligence Platform and Channels (PC) organization provides data technology and services supporting acquisition, ingestion, content management, mastering and distribution to power our business line and customer needs. Focus on platform scale to support business lines through a common data lifecycle that accelerates business value. The office strives to provide new insight to our customers through data discovery, research, and integrated access. In certain cases, the office will utilize capital investment on key initiatives to deliver immediate value or remediate high risk areas through structured programs. Maintains a focus on innovation to keep ahead of market trends and disruptive technologies. The Lodestone Data Engineering team is responsible for working together with internal data producers and assisting the teams with making their data available to a data fabric. Responsibilities: Set up cloud infrastructure for data producers in google cloud including big query databases, pub sub topics and data transformation jobs Understand data producers’ requirements and implement data transformation jobs using big data technologies Migrate existing data assets in a centralized data lake to the data fabric Assist in setting up pipelines What We’re Looking For: BS in Computer Science or Engineering with at least 2 years of professional software work experience 2+ years of experience in Big Data technologies like Spark Good working knowledge of databases Experience with at least one major cloud provider. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus/a sales commission plan.
