The Role: .NET Software Engineer The Team: The Market Intelligence Platform and Channels (PC) organization provides data technology and services supporting acquisition, ingestion, content management, mastering and distribution to power our business line and customer needs. Focus on platform scale to support business lines through a common data lifecycle that accelerates business value. The office strives to provide new insight to our customers through data discovery, research, and integrated access. In certain cases, the office will utilize capital investment on key initiatives to deliver immediate value or remediate high risk areas through structured programs. Maintains a focus on innovation to keep ahead of market trends and disruptive technologies. Responsibilities: The data control team is responsible for implementing operational user interfaces and tools to support controls and entitlements in entire process of ingesting, defining, processing and distribution of data. This data control team will work closely with other teams responsible for all aspects of the data workflow. Responsibilities include: Work with data producers and consumers to understand and analyse their requirements and translate them into technical designs. Develop and maintain tools and APIs, primarily in .NET Integrate control and permission principles and software with other parts of the system What We’re Looking For: 4+ years of experience developing commercial applications with .NET or Java Deep understanding of REST and good API design. Understanding of OOP principles Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, OIDC, SAML) SQL and relational databases Experience in maintaining and developing systems on production Nice to have Qualifications and Skills: Experience with Javascript and front-end technologies like Angular or React.js Experience with at least one major cloud provider, either AWS or GCP.
