Wood is currently recruiting for a <b>Field Operations Coordinator </b>to join the Vibration Dynamics and Noise team in Calgary, AB. This is an office-based role and the ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organized, and detail oriented.<br />
<br />
The<b> Field Operations Coordinator</b> will perform a range of tasks to coordinate such things as, field job logistics, commercial set up, support field processes and procedures, and engage in marketing support.<br />

<br />
Key responsibilities:</p>
<ul>
<li>Be aware of and involved in the existing and upcoming jobs performed by the field analysts</li>
<li>Preliminary screening of contracts based on specific guidelines</li>
<li>Field job set up support, which includes updating calendar, assigning equipment, and notifying the project team of changing details</li>
<li>Logistics support for shipping equipment from Wood offices to client sites</li>
<li>Maintain tracking spreadsheets and action the team to ensure the developed processes are being followed and offering support in these tasks</li>
<li>Project and document control tasks, for specific projects</li>
<li>Processing and issuing field reports to clients</li>
<li>Marketing support including, cleaning up reports for general distribution, as well as formatting and compiling PowerPoint presentations for conferences and client presentations</li>
<li>Documenting meeting action items and working with the team to ensure completion of any items</li>
<li>Run reports on a periodic basis to analyze business performance according to key metrics and provide updates to senior management</li>
<li>Coordinate and book travel for field engineers and other staff, as required</li>
<li>Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to speak directly to the issue and to adapt to work environment and customers&
39; communication style</li>
<li>Ability to establish strong working relationships with customers and a strong customer focus with the desire to go the extra mile</li>
</ul>

<b>Skills / Qualifications</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Diploma in Business Administration or bachelor&
39;s degree in related discipline is an asset</li>
<li>Up to 5 years of experience in office / contract administration, ideally in a Consulting environment</li>
<li>Must have excellent communication (written and verbal) skills with the ability to engage with a variety of groups</li>
<li>Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; with the ability to work individually and in a team environment</li>
<li>Experience with logistics / shipping, an asset</li>
<li>Able to think critically, analyze and make suggestions for process improvements</li>
<li>Advanced computer skills with emphasis on MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)</li>
<li>Self-motivated with a proven track record of high customer satisfaction</li>
<li>Must be a Canadian citizen or authorized to work lawfully in Canada without sponsorship</li>
