Sr. Staff Tanzu Solution Specialist - Opportunity for Working Remotely

Tanzu VCPP Tech Alliance SE will work with VMware’s most strategic cloud provider partners in EMEA and AMER to jumpstart Tanzu sales through the VCPP/MSP route. The candidate will come with a strong Tanzu platform/DevOps background and will be required to work with VMware VCPP field sellers (BDs and SEs) to provide end-to-end technical alliance support to VCPP partners. This candidate will incubate and drive the Tanzu VCPP offerings with partners and have a strong sales/GTM acumen. This candidate should be able to navigate around different partner dynamics, drive the right Tanzu offering with VCPP partners/cloud providers (given their current and future desired business roadmaps) and make these partners successful in driving Tanzu sales and consumption to their end customers. This role navigates across a matrix organization, interlocking with many different teams inside and outside VMware. Specific Responsibilities: Work closely with VCPP field BDMs/SEs to onboard customers to existing partner offerings, and create a top line funnel of new partners committing to launch a Tanzu service by H2 Primary function includes evangelizing, POCs, follow up of adoption, and interactions with Product Management Create and drive a Technical Operational Cadence with all top VCPP partners, enabling partner onboarding to service launch and customer sales Build and execute partner (technical) enablement plans. Manage partner sales training, ensuring partners have the necessary and active support from VMware to be successful. Build partner capability to perform solution validation, proof of concept, deployments, consumption, and engage in services opportunities. Be the CTO face of Tanzu for strategic VCPP partners. Be a thought leader on best ways to promote Tanzu Products, develop offering definitions and use cases Provide competitive intelligence for strategic analysis and positioning of Tanzu product offerings. Understand partner challenges, headwinds and opportunities to feedback to the product teams for constant development and improvement of the partner solutions.
