Site Name: Home Worker - DEU (Munich) Posted Date: Dec 5 2022 ‘Be You’ at GSK At GSK, working as Medical Expert Manager Early Pipeline Vaccines in the Scientific Communication and Early Pipeline Vaccines team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining scientific relationships with national and international external healthcare professionals to get insights about our new assets. You will support the New Products Strategy department, giving medical advice to ensure the market access of our pipeline products. We are looking for a candidate who has long term experience as MSL or in a similar Medical Affairs role and displays a proactive approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a supportive team. This role will be home office based. Your responsibilities: Identifying national and international experts for our early pipeline indications to get insights through listening and observing their challenges Providing high quality, balanced and scientific medical information about our pipeline assets to both internal and external customers on request and in a timely manner Giving medical advice about pipeline products to support different internal stakeholders like the New Products Strategy department, GMPL Early Vaccines and the Value Evidence Teams to ensure market access of new products Support clinical development activities by participating in the site identification and assessment process, addressing subject retention and other scientific issues in partnership with study management and monitoring Representation of German requirements and objectives regarding studies and study designs of vaccines in the pipeline • Maintaining an up to date and high-level knowledge about possible new therapy areas Evaluate what further data is needed for the German market to initiate and support Investigator Initiated Research Identifying new study sites and opportunities for research & development collaborations with leading institutions and external experts. Working in a compliant environment and adhere to the relevant national/local Codes of Practice Why you? Your Qualifications: PhD in medicine, pharmacy, biomedical sciences or similar At least 5 to 10 years of professional experience as medical science liaisons or medical advisor, preferably in pipeline assets Knowledge of clinical development processes Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills. Ability to clearly articulate new complex scientific concepts in one-to-one settings and to maintain strong scientific relationships with external experts.
