Business Systems Support

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently recruiting a Project Analyst to work in the Business Systems Support team. <br><br> Reporting to the BSS Project Manager this role will be s upported by a number of team leads and business systems specialists, this role is responsible for project governance, managing, resourcing, supporting, delivering and reporting on all BSS projects required to develop effective team structures, strategy, drive and direction. This role may focus in a specialist functional area or focus on implementations. <br><br>Works closely with BSS team members, IT technical specialists and applications developers to manage and deliver BSS projects including scoping, build, testing deployment, and training. Acts as the key interface between operational business to deliver projects. Provides governance and control at all stages of the project lifestyle <br><br>The role works with Wood operational and functional teams building strong relationships from scope through to delivery of system projects and support initiatives is a key components of this role. <br><br><b>Responsibilities:</b> <br><ul><li> Key member in the development of the data migration strategy </li><li> Work with the business to collate all data for project implementation </li><li> Ensure all data is reconciled and signed off by the business. </li><li> Work with the projects team to ensure all data is in Oralce for SIT, UAT and Go live </li><li> Maintains close working relationships with all functional areas of the system processes </li><li> Work with end-users to resolve problems, address functional issues, and provide guidance in the use of systems </li><li> Perform analysis of the integration error reports resolving, escalating and delegating errors as appropriate </li><li> Develop, create and maintain data auditing processes and schedules with a focus to mitigating risks associated with data integrity and improving data integrity performance </li><li> Responsible for the monitoring and maintenance of approval workflows </li><li> Maintain and manage Inclusion/Exclusion by exception tables </li><li> Support global mobility system process working with receiving and giving global/regional teams </li><li> Assist with the testing of patches, upgrades, enhancements and deployments </li><li> Support business readiness and training </li><li> Provide and collate specialist data gathering and analysis from People Systems </li><li> Works with BAU and Projects teams in developing and testing configuration changes, and assists in the implementation and business readiness </li><li> Creation and maintenance of system processes and guidance material </li><li> Maintain and manage system work structure values and tables including mass updates and data migration </li><li> Perform HDL loads, create HDL templates, file import/export, element batch loader and Web ADis </li><li> Work closely with the Data P&O Systems Support stream to ensure data cleanse priorities align and activities are started ahead of any implementation phase </li><li> Working with the P&O Systems Support Lead, establish a data audit strategy with an aim to improve data integrity globally </li><li> Work with Reporting stream to ensure a robust data audit solution is available for use </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><b> Qualifications: </b><br><ul><li> Graduate level or relevant recent experience </li><li> Reporting application hands on experience of various reporting applications e.g. Excel and Oracle, not essential but would be beneficial </li></ul><br><b> Knowledge, Skills and Experience: </b><br><ul><li> An understanding of ERP/IT projects </li><li> Excellent data management and analysis skills to assemble, clean and analyse data effectively from multiple systems. </li><li> Evidence of achieving challenging performance targets </li><li> Experience of working with minimal supervision to deliver and meet project deadlines </li></ul><br><b> Personal Attributes: </b><br><ul><li> Able to effectively work with multi-disciplinary teams on regional and global levels.
