SUMMARY: With guidance and supervision, carries out a variety of heliarc welding, standard torch brazing and assembly operations that are utilized in the fabrication of most company products. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. With guidance will work from engineering drawings, process followers, and written and verbal instructions to perform the necessary operations to complete the assigned tasks. 2. With guidance performs fabrication, welding and standard torch brazing operations to complete assigned tasks. 3. Follows the production process to ensure the most efficient use of time and materials. 4. Will grind, deburr, drill, assemble, fabricate, glass bead, flush, pressure test, expand, package and peform other related duties as needed. 5. Visually inspects parts and subassemblies for freedom from defects and refers problems to cell leader or supervisor for resolution. 6. Prepares for increased responsibility by receiving training on more advanced welding techniques. 7. Maintains work area and equipment in a safe, clean and orderly condition. 8. Performs other related duties as directed. >
