Sr. Manager, Maintenance

Responsibilities May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate. (e.g. emergencies change in workload, rush jobs or technical developments.) Provide direction and supervision of Maintenance Supervisors ensuring a team focus is present and maintained. Provide guidance and oversight ensuring Supervisors and Support groups coordinate and execute daily planned Line Maintenance. Work collectively with Maintenance Supervisors to ensure maintenance is accomplished in compliance with Company Policies and Manuals. Ensure Maintenance Supervisors are highly training and effective. Interface with various providers, vendors and support groups to ensure all resources are staged and maintained for each maintenance event. Continuously improve the performance and readiness of the station maintenance team. Station maintenance safety culture. Station maintenance quality, compliance and preparedness. Station maintenance training and team building. The day to day execution and improvement of maintenance processes. Leadership and guidance of the Maintenance Supervisors. Works with Team member to provide on time Aircraft performance. Current A&P License required. Valid driver's license required. High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred. 10-15 years commercial aircraft maintenance experience required. 5-10 years of commercial aviation maintenance team leadership preferred. 2-5 years of hands on leadership with the A320 Family of aircraft preferred. Experienced in and current on FAA certification of parts and material. Experienced with Continuous Improvement Lean or ISO preferred. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to work various shifts. Must be willing to support aircraft at remote locations and countries. Must be able to climb and work off of aircraft stands and compartments. Must be able to quickly analyze and improve line maintenance work, flow and synchronization ensuring efficiency. Must be able to effectively present ideas to senior management and maintenance team. Must be able to communicate effectively with all interfacing co-workers, vendors and suppliers. Ability to drive, lead and develop the line maintenance team. Ability to multi-task and coordinate repairs of complicated aircraft systems in timely manner. Ability to read wire diagrams and disseminate various levels of work instruction related to line maintenance and aircraft modification. Ability to communicate effectively with other departments with a clear understanding of work being accomplished. Must demonstrate the ability to use and adapt to standard MS computer software and various web applications.
