Financial Analyst (Corporate Controllers COE)

S&P Global Corporate The Role: Financial Analyst - Corporate Controllers - Center of Excellence (COE): Commission Accounting Grade (relevant for internal applicants only): 10 The Location: Silver City 2 Building, Pasig City, Philippines Responsibilities: Manage and prepare the monthly ASC 606 accounting and supporting schedules from Xactly’s Commission Expense Accounting (CEA) module Work closely with division finance teams in the preparation and posting of the monthly commission accrual Deliver timely and accurate monthly reporting packages and analysis on ASC 606 and accruals including support for quarterly SEC reporting Manage the financial components within CEA Responsible for internal controls associated with ASC 606 Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliation Uses broader knowledge of financial principles and theories and the organizations to improve processes What we’re looking for: Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or related curriculum. Organized, responsible and committed Working knowledge of US GAAP, ASC 606 Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely present issues and ideas Extensive Microsoft Excel knowledge and expertise Strong attention to detail and analytical skills (i.e. proactive problem solver), and an inquisitive mind. Ability to work independently Comfortable managing the delivery of high-quality outputs with overlapping deadlines and tight time constraints Experience with Oracle and Anaplan Experience with or willingness to learn Xactly, Alteryx and Tableau
